Reading this site requires no account and no form. What is collected, and by whom, is listed below in full.

Reading an article
You do not need to identify yourself to read anything here. No account, no profile, no login.
Audience measurement
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to know which articles are read and where readers come from. It records the pages viewed, the referring site, the approximate region, and technical characteristics of the browser and device. Google acts as our processor for this and receives that data.
Advertising
The site is funded by advertising. A Google Ads tag is loaded through the same container and is used to measure the performance of advertising campaigns pointing to this site. It can lead to data being sent to Google and to doubleclick.net.
Google's own handling of this data is governed by their policies:Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely withtheir browser add-on. The cookie page lists what is stored on your device and how to refuse it.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address, the page you subscribed from, the version of the consent text you accepted, and the dates of subscription and unsubscription. Nothing else — no name, no tracking of what you open. It is used to send the newsletter, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it.
You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any issue, or by writing tohello@clutchrig.com. Unsubscribing stops the sending; ask us and the record is deleted outright.
Hosting and logs
Clutchrig runs on Cloudflare, Inc., which processes requests at its edge and keeps technical logs — IP address, request, response status — for the security and reliability of the service. We use those logs to diagnose incidents, never to profile a reader.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the data we hold about you, its correction, or its deletion, and object to its processing. Write to hello@clutchrig.com with Privacy in the subject line. For anything held by Google rather than by us, the request goes to Google — the links above are the entry points.
Changes
This page changes when the site changes: adding a measurement tool or a new form means updating it the same day. The revision date sits at the top.
